The daily challenge features a new Minesweeper puzzle every day. The puzzle stays online for 24 hours and is replaced by a new one once that time is over.
You can only play each daily puzzle once. In other words, if you lose, you cannot give it another try. Likewise, you cannot improve your stats once the puzzle is over. To make it into the daily leaderboard, you must strive to do your best in a single attempt.
If something unexpected happens and you need to leave the game midway through, don’t worry. The puzzle will be paused automatically to ensure you are not penalized and you can resume it later.
The standard Minesweeper rules apply to the puzzles of the daily challenge. The goal is to open all the empty cells on the board and avoid clicking on those with bombs. The players can flag these cells with a red flag to help them navigate the board.
Empty cells will showcase numbers whenever mines are adjacent to them. The numbers can range from 1 to 8. Minesweeper is a game of logic because the players must analyze these numbers and, sometimes, calculate probabilities to avoid clicking on those cells with mines. The total number of mines is always indicated at the beginning of the game.
The players win if they manage to open all the safe cells without detonating any mines. There is no time limit.
